The Foundation

The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte is an audited nonprofit organization established in 1994 as a vehicle for individuals and organizations to offer direct support to diocesan ministries and bolster the long-term financial stability of the diocese as a whole. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and civic leaders consisting of laity and clergy. These trustees pursue investment policies that mirror Catholic values while maintaining growth. Foundation endowments support parishes, seminarian education, priests’ retirement, Catholic Charities, and other ministries.
